However, as it doesn't produce any energy by itself, you will need to feed it electric energy, most recommendable in the form of our T500-Rechargeable Energy Storation Unit.

Right now, the Energy Crystal is solely used in some crafting recipes, it will, however, become some sort of RE battery for future machines, though.
