Bronze
Bronze is a metal resource added by IC². It is not generated as ore, but must instead be crafted from a blend of copper and tin.
Forms[edit]
As bronze has no ore, it does not go through ore processing. Bronze dust is produced via the crafting recipe below.
The recipe is shapeless and any combination of purified/crushed ores or dusts may be used.
These forms of bronze are seen during metal shaping:
Uses[edit]
Bronze and its forms are used to craft these (and perhaps others):
Bronze can also be used to craft other, less IndustrialTM items:
Bronze equipment is slightly less effective than iron (but will mine at the same level).
Crafting[edit]
Basic crafting is the same for (almost) every metal - bronze is one of the outliers, not having an ore form and thus no crushed or purified forms either. Its dust still smelts like anything else, though.
9 ingots craft into a block and vice versa.
Dust comes from 9 small piles (in addition to mixing copper and tin), but you can't craft small piles out of a single dust like you can craft ingots out of a block.
For parts that you make using this metal, plates and item casings and so forth, there's a page for that already.
HAYO[edit]
No, that isn't some casual Bronze which was already known thousands of years ago. This is really Special Bronze!
You can craft all kinds of stuff with it, like Bronze Pickaxes, Bronze Swords, Bronze Armor parts... whatever you can imagine! Bronze has about the same durability as iron and it is nearly as effective as iron tools, too! And who does seriously care about a slight lack in efficiency, if you can look 30% more awesome? HAYO!
As well, Bronze is PERFECT to craft advanced engineer tools. Like Wrenches. It is also perfect to use in place of iron to make rails. HAYO!
