Solar Panels are generators that utilize the energy of the Sun to generate EU. This fact means that they cannot work underground (unless there is an unobstructed view of the sky) or in the Nether. They also don't work at night.
Recipe[edit]
Usage[edit]
Optionally place an RE Battery in the upper slot. The collector will charge the battery or output power at a rate of 1 EU/s during daytime(from 6:20 to 17:45). Rain does not affect energy production.

Solar Flowers[edit]
Due to the relative weakness of power generation, the Solar Panels are often assembled into so-called Solar Flowers. These constructions provide the benefit of compact and relatively cheap Solar Panel arrangement without energy losses.
