The Macerator. A very helpful device that boosts your efficiency by about 100%.

It uses either a direct Cable connection or an energy storage item (Single-use Battery or RE Battery).

With this device you can, for example, macerate one Tin Ore to two Tin Dust which can then be smelted into two Tin Ingots.
