THIS IS WRONG!!! You have to insert 8 ingots to get 1 dense copper plate.

This. can be obtained by smelting Copper Ore block or Copper Dust in a Furnace or using Super Heat Laser mode on blocks. Smelting dust provide 200% total output. Actually every mod related item contain some copper, in form of Cables, Circuits, Bronze and DCPs with exception to Iron Furnace.

By amount of ingots copper is main component of Nuclear Reactor.
