Created by combining the Lapis Lazuli's Current-Storage abilities with an Energy Crystal, one can create a device capable of storing TEN MILLION EU.
However, as most devices are incapable of handling this power, only an MFSU or machines with 2 Transformer upgrade (as of IC2 v1.65) can (de)charge these crystals.
Unlike RE Batteries, right-clicking does not recharge the electric tools currently in your inventory.

Experimental (unknown build) | Lapotron crystals are now tier 4 batteries, storing 10 million EU, and (dis)charging at 2048 EU/t. |
Trivia[edit]
In the IC2.cfg file, there is a setting that allows Lapotron Crystals to be used in Miners by changing false to true in the following setting:
# Enable usage of lapotron crystals on miners enableMinerLapotron=false
HAYO[edit]
What? You were dissatisfied with the amazing energy storage capacity of the T500-Rechargeable Energy Storation Unit and now not even the even more amazingtastic Energy Crystal isn't enough for you?
Well, then today is your lucky day!
Our engineers have developed a way to combine the unique properties of Lapis Lazuli with the sheer technological advancednessity of our Energy Crystal, creating the utterly FRIKKIN' powerful Lapotronic Crystalline Energy Storation Unit!
This "Lapotron Crystal" can store ten times the energy content of the Energy Crystal! HAYO!
And not only that, but a charged Lapotron Crystal can also store OVER 9000 Gibbl! HAYO!
"Wth? Why does a high-tek sensible energy crystal store PRESSURE?!", you may ask.
Our researchers don't know either, but they agree that it is FRIKKIN' AWESOME!
