Ge-o-ther-mal, doesn't that sound really good? Yeah, it does. And why? Because it's freakin awesome!

A Geothermal Generator works on the same basic principle as normal Generators do.

But instead of wastefully burning stuff, these machines use the heat of pure Magma to provide a clean, yet powerful energy source. Just put a bucket of freshly gathered lava in,

and watch your RE Batteries charge up! HAYO!

Usage

Place Lava Buckets in the lower slot, and optionally an RE Battery in the upper slot. The Geothermal Generator will charge the battery or output power at a rate of 5 EU/s.

Geothermal Generator combo

A Miner adjacent to one or more Geothermal Generators (up to 8), and using Extractor pipes will automatically supply the Geothermal Generator(s) with lava.

Extracted lava per operation is converted to 5000 EU. A single lava source block may be operated on multiple times before disappearing, and on average returns more than a bucket of lava would generate.

Each Geothermal Generator can hold ~4 buckets worth (4x20000 EU) before more is wasted, hence 16 operations of the miner are required to fill one completely.

This is the most efficient way of using lava as a power source.
