(Dont delete everything in the starting intro RawCode... the only thing you might have added of use was the number of when it starts to convert water to electrolyzed. Only update that part as what was already written was better formed of what you said) |

Put the Electrolyzer next to an MFE or MFSU and it'll take some power to convert Water Cells into Electrolyzed Water Cells. Electrolyzed Water Cells can be used to store power for later usage.
Electrolyzing is 90% efficient, so 10% of the energy is lost during the process.
Electrolyzed Water Cells absorb 15000 EU, but lose 1500 EU, only storing 13500 EU. When left in the Electrolyzer, adjacent to an empty MFE/MFS, they will discharge into the MFE/MFS, converting them back to Water Cells again.
In other words, the Electrolyzer acts as an additional storage device for your MFE/MFS unit that, while slow to charge and discharge, can be disassembled and stored, etc.
Simply place the Water Cells directly to the left of the energy storage display, and as they are removed from the stack and filled with energy, they will be placed in a slot directly to the right of the energy storage display. From there, they may be removed to store for later or left in place to discharge as needed.
Automating[edit]
To automate with mods like BuildCraft and RedPower
- pump in/out on the top and any side to modify the left side where water cells go
- pump in/out on the bottom to modify the right side where electrolyzed cells end up
Recipe[edit]
Energy[edit]
EU | |
---|---|
Input | 15000 per Water Cell at 10 EU/t |
Output | 13500 per Electrolyzed Water Cell at 10 EU/t |
Storage | 15000 |
- Converts Water Cells into Electrolyzed Water Cells only when attached storage unit is > 75% full. //or is it "69.99 full"?
- Converts Electrolyzed Water Cells back into Water Cells only when attached storage unit is < 25% full.
