The electric jetpack is a more user friendly version of the old jetpack.[[File:picture_na.png|right|link=]]

Instead of using coal based fuel and most certainly not existing bio and super fuel, it uses energy!
The Electric Jetpack is an and easier to use and recharge version of the conventional [[Jetpack]]. Flying is performed by holding down the jump key. It also has a Hover Mode, which can be toggled by pressing the H key. In Hover Mode, holding the jump key will make the player slowly ascend, while releasing it will make the player descend at approximately the same speed as ascending. This feature makes the Electric Jetpack better than the normal Jetpack, as the Hover Mode for the normal Jetpack has only one of the two features. In Hover Mode, the Electric Jetpack uses less energy.

This jetpack however has much less runtime and therefore it has to be frequently recharged.

But the electric jetpack also has much more control and therefore perfect for exploring caves. Just like the standard jetpack, the electric jetpack has a Hover-Mode in IC2.

While holding space in the "Hover-Mode" might just slightly move you upwards.

A fully charged Electric Jetpack can work for about 80 seconds (10 seconds less than the normal Jetpack). Unlike the normal Jetpack, the Electric one remains powerful right until it drains the charge completely.
