Chainsaw
This item is part of the 'powered' tool set in the industrialcraft mod, this tool can rapidly cut through wood, wiring, leaf blocks (possible that saplings may not be dropped if chainsaw is used, experienced editors please confirm as previous wiki editor was unreliable in information) and can also be used to shear wool from sheep. This item uses energy to function and will not be damaged with use, it can be refueled by placing into a batbox, MFE or MFSU, by wearing a batpack or lappack while using, or by holding a charged battery and right clicking to transfer energy into the chainsaw.
Shearing[edit]
Since 1.70 the Chainsaw now also works as shears. Just right-click on a sheep. (Please make sure to right click, as we cannot be held responsible for the inadvertent disassembly of sheep due to left clicking.)

Charging[edit]
This tool may be charged using a Generator of any kind or MFE/MFSU/BatBox. Alternatively, it can receive power from a Bat-Pack. It can also be recharged by right-clicking while holding a battery (hold right-click until it fully charges)
