The RE Battery is the most basic EU storage item in IC², with storage of 10K EU and a transfer rate of 100 EU/t.
Recipe[edit]
Uses[edit]
An RE Battery - for rechargeable, as opposed to the Single-Use Battery - can be charged, discharged, and recharged any number of times. As a power tier 1 item, it can be discharged in nearly any machine, though it will be too small and slow to be of any significance in the more complex ones.
Fully discharged or fully charged RE Batteries are stackable up to 16, but partially charged batteries are not stackable.[confirm]
This item is used to craft:
BatBox
Batpack
Charging RE Battery
Energy storage upgrade
Generator
OD Scanner

Of course we don't want to bore you with some random details of the T500-Rechargeable Energy Storation Unit, so we just tell you this:
If one piece of coal stored 3000 units of power, our RE Battery's power level would be OVER NINE THOUSAND!
Take that, Vegeta! A little battery can smelt your entire everything into something else!
Ah, and we didn't mention the big feature of our beloved little gadget yet: It's fully rechargeable and completely indestructible. This is meant serious: You can use it as often as you like to, it will never break of material exhaustion!
