Are you tired of your wooden boats always snapping into pieces in the slightest of winds? Find ocean travel boring? Got a need for speed? Then you need a better Boat! Industrial Boats come in 3 varieties: the Rubber Dinghy, the Carbon Fibre Canoe, and the Electric Boat. Each one is functionally identical to the vanilla Minecraft boat, but each one has its own little perks.
Rubber Dinghy[edit]
See: Crafting Guide |
The Rubber Dinghy is the cheapest of the 3 Industrial Boats, requiring only a few bits of Rubber. Like the vanilla wooden boat, it will break and dismantle whenever it hits a surface, however instead of returning sticks and planks, it will return a Damaged Rubber Dinghy, which can be re-crafted with a single piece of Rubber back into a useable Rubber Dinghy!
Carbon Fibre Canoe[edit]
See: Crafting Guide
Unlike all other boats, the amazing Carbon Fibre Canoe is COMPLETELY INDESTRUCTIBLE!* This means that you can smash it into as many beaches, lily pads and alligators as you like, the Carbon Fibre Canoe won't take a scratch! HAYO!
- warning: we are not held responsible for any damaged caused by riding the Carbon Fibre Canoe into Lava or Void.
Electric Boat[edit]
See: Crafting Guide
The Electric Boat works mostly like a vanilla boat, chugging through the water at a decent pace, although it drop itself once you crash, which is nice I guess. Well, that's all well and good, but what if we give it some power? Wearing an energy storage device in your chestplate slot, like a Batpack or Energypack, will cause the boat to drain energy from it and propel you forward at supersonic speed! Doing this will consume about 100 EU per block travelled, so even a measly Batpack will last you 600 blocks!
