So you have your Nuclear Reactor, and you have your Uranium/MOX Nuclear Fuel, but how does one put the fuel in the reactor? The intermediary is a Fuel Rod.

Recipe[edit]

Fuel Rods are traditionally stainless steel, however, our patented process allows for safe1 Fuel Rods to be manufactured out of plain old iron plates. This is, of course, for your eyes only.

Uses[edit]

The primary usage of a Fuel Rod is to hold nuclear fuels. In order to keep the fuel in a semi-stable state, use a Canning Machine to seal the Fuel Rod. Suitable fuels include Enriched Uranium Nuclear Fuel and MOX Nuclear Fuel. Remember, you should be wearing a HAZMAT Suit when handling nuclear fuels.



In case you made too many Fuel Rods, or if you need to liquidate your assets (presumably for more Credits), they can be ground into usable Iron Dust:
