A water filled vial is the basis for the mixing of all potions
An empty Vial can be filled with water by right clicking any water block. This will not pick the block up, as the vial is too small to effectively replace a bucket
Then, the water in the vial has to be distilled using a mixer, to further proceed in the potion making process
