The top accesses the pipes inventory, the "back" accesses the drill inventory, and the other sides access the scanner. As far as I can tell the only way to know which side is the back is to keep track when placing the miner, as I can not see any difference between the sides. | |||

Maximum Depth?[edit]
Can someone determine if there's a maximum depth at which the miners can dig? I'm starting to see evidence that miners can only dig 64 blocks deep (I'll double-check to be sure). I want to see if this is how it's supposed to be or if this is a bug. --mindstorm8191 July 9 2012

I searched all over for this info and was unable to find it, so I did the tests myself. I have zero experience with wikis so if someone could add this info that would be great.
