The Thermal Centrifuge is the third machine in IC2's ore processing chain. It's primary purpose is to centrifuge Purified Crushed Ores into [[Dusts]] and Tiny Piles of Dusts. The Thermal Centrifuge requires a redstone signal to operate, similar to the [[Induction Furnace]], in that it needs to heat up and will process faster at max heat. Whilst heating up, the Thermal Centrifuge consumes about 1 EU/t, and at max heat it idles using 0.5EU/t. Again, like the Induction Furnace, placing items inside to process will also heat up the machine.
