Has this been removed from the game? I can't find it in TMI

Quote.pngye, it has been removed in IC²Quote.png

any other way to control EU current? --TakeruDavis 03:09, 14 October 2011 (CEST)

  • You can now create cable intersections just by connecting cables. Unfortunately since the game calculates all possible routes for the current to flow every tick, having lots of intersections causes CPU strain. You can use any of the storage blocks (BatBox, MSE, MFE) to combine cables without causing CPU strain. Transformers can be used to split cables without CPU strain. Unfortunately you need two transformers if you want to maintain the same voltage. If you just need one "T" intersection in your cable then that's not an issue. CPU strain is also much less of an issue in single player than it is on a multiplayer server. --Trifler 04:55, 14 October 2011 (CEST)
I know how to split it, but I want to control it with redstone. If powered, going to, I dont know, macerator for example, if unpowered, to... mass fabricator...--TakeruDavis 11:49, 14 October 2011 (CEST)
Hmm yeah that's different. I'm pretty sure you can put a lever on a BatBox to turn current from it on and off, so you could split your cable and put a BatBox on each cable *after* the split, then put a lever on each. Best I can think of. --Trifler 12:24, 14 October 2011 (CEST)
Indeed it does (MFU and MFS does so as well). Well, not exactly what I expected, but I bet it still does the work :-D --TakeruDavis 15:44, 14 October 2011 (CEST)
