Solar Flowers[edit]

For those of you looking for videos on how to make Solar Flowers, you do NOT need a switch cable to make them. Use Copper Wire to connect all the Solar Panels to one wire, then run it down to an MFE Transmitter. From there, run 2x Insulated Gold Cable (at least 3 units) out of the output face of the storage device (the MFE) into an LV Transformer with the three dots facing the Gold Cable. Then run Copper Wire out of any of the other of the faces of your transformer into any number of basic machines, such as Induction Furnaces, Macerators, Recyclers, etc...

Note: If you are going to use an MFS Unit then you will need to run 3x Insulated HV Cable (try not to use too much, it loses energy rapidly) or, alternatively, Glass Fibre Cable to an MV Transformer with the three dots facing that wire, then run your Gold Cable to your LV transformer, and so on.

Hope this helped!

PROTIP: Most Solar Flowers are either a pyramid of 5 or 13 Solar Panels.

Still Broken[edit]

SMP on bukkit, 1.337b, EU-reader shows 0 all the time Discipol 22:32, 17 December 2011 (CET)

  • You sure you don't have the cable running too far? Copper cable loses power very quickly, and if your batbox is too far away it simply won't "draw" any current, and the EU-reader will say 0 no matter where you test. Rocketman679 08:48, 30 January 2012 (CET)
