Also known as ''T501-Non-Rechargeable Energy Storage Unit'', each Single-Use Battery can store up to 1200 EU. That's 8800 EU less than their [[RE Battery|rechargeable counterparts]], 400 EU more than plain Redstone, and you can't recharge them. Like RE Batteries, right-clicking will recharge the electric tools currently in your inventory, using the Single-Use Battery.
However, they are much easier to produce in quantities and are much more easily transportable.

Inventory space: A 64 stack of Single-Use Batteries contains 76.8k EU in a single inventory slot, much more space efficient then RE-Batteries (10k), and do not require a generator to be deployed on-site.
Sing-Use Batteries created from normal coal dust will waste 99 8/9 EU per battery. Creating Single-Use Batteries from [[Hydrated Coal Dust]] using Water Buckets and using [[Rubber]] made from [[Sticky Resin]] in an [[Extractor]], obtained with an [[Electric Treetap]] will yield a gain of about 387.5694 EU per battery. Using [[Rubber Wood]] and a [[Chainsaw]] instead will reduce the yield to about 308.4027 EU per battery.

The single use battery is very convenient, which is it's only advantage when compared with it's rechargable counterparts. They are easy to produce and very useful, being able to stack so you can load multiple batteries into a single machine at a time. They are, however, much less efficient than the RE batteries. The reason for this is that when fuel burns in a generator, charging a RE batteries, it gives off 48,000 EU (charging 4.8 batteries per fuel), but when made into single-use batteries, it only gives off 30,000 per fuel can which means you loose 18,000 EU per can. The same applies for Bio fuel, only you loose 17,000 EU which is over half the stored energy it has, not to mention the energy it takes to make the fuel!  
What is this device, you ask? Well, it's just what the name suggests: it stores energy and after discharging, it is AUTOMATICALLY dumped into the environment!
And as an extra just for you, it even packs '''MORE''' energy than our T500-Rechargeable Energy Storation Unit per Storage Space Unit! HAYO!  


These are the facts and figures, but it is up to you wether you choose convenience or efficiency convenience and invest your resources in single-use or RE batteries.

Also known as T501-Non-Rechargeable Energy Storage Unit, each Single-Use Battery can store up to 1200 EU. That's 8800 EU less than their rechargeable counterparts, 400 EU more than plain Redstone, and you can't recharge them.
