Silver is mainly obtained as a by-product when processing Gold Ore inside the Thermal Centrifuge. Currently, the only use for Silver is it's dust form in the recipe for Glass Fibre Cable. Whilst there is a Crushed Ore and Purified Crushed Ore form of Silver, they are unobtainable without the use of another mod that adds a Silver Ore, since IC2 does not have a Silver Ore.

Place 1 Crushed Silver Ore in an Ore Washing Plant. Will return 1 Purified Crushed Silver Ore, 2 Tiny Piles of Silver, and 1 Stone Dust.
