The Pump is a ingenious piece of tier 2 technology capable of ABSORBING liquids and compressing them into a cell with a minimal use of power!

Of course while it is absorbing all that liquid it will need somewhere to put it so we recommend buying our patented C-600 capsule cell container!

The pump can be placed next to a Miner to help it suck up lava encountered while mining, or the pump can be used on its own. A pump used on its own will suck up liquid directly below itself; this is probably not useful for lava, but can be useful for water since it respawns under the right conditions. Once the liquid has been sucked up, the pump will fill either an empty bucket or an empty cell placed in the pump's item slot or in an adjacent chest. The newly-filled item will be placed into an adjacent chest; if no chest is available, the item will be ejected into the world.

Note: As of v1.337 a pump with a infinite water source under it and a compressor placed directly next to it will pump and compress water into snowballs without the need for cells.

In v1.64, this feature is bugged, when the compressor finishes, it crashes the Minecraft client and corrupts the world save. To prevent this, place an Empty Cell into the top slot of the compressor to create a placebo effect. This will cause the compressor to pump out snowballs without crashing.
