The Mining Pipes, which are used by the Automated Miner, have 4 different versions.

Gets divided in 4 parts, for every pipe. Not done yet

Versions[edit]

Mining Pipe[edit]

Standard version, Norm-Size 6G, Iron-tipped

Cheap, basic and yet effective on mining ores and other valuable underground stuff.

Diamond-tipped Pipe[edit]

Like the Mining Drill, Mining Pipes can be upgraded with diamond tips, as well.

This costly addition will DOUBLE the entire operation speed and thus HALVE the energy cost. I this epic or epic, HAYO?!

ITNT Pipe[edit]

Like my grandmother always said: "It's BOOMstick-time!". Just with less stick and more boom.

ITNT pipes will not actively search for ore, but just dig straight down (still harvesting everything in their way).

Upon retracting them, every 3rd We do not guarantue our products being able to count to 3, there may be random occurings ITNT Pipe will EXPLODE. Now, not literally.

Actually, just the ITNT charge INSIDE of the pipe will explode, leaving a neat hole. Then the, of course fully unharmed, pipe will be withdrawn and ejected as Mining Pipe.

Not really the most efficient way for harvesting ore, but surely the most interesting and space-generating one. And it's good for BOOMSTICK-TIME, HAYO!

Extractor Pipe[edit]

Did you ever ran out of fuel for your Geothermal Generator because buckets seem to only take a small percentage of the lava and make the rest disappear? We solved this issue!

Our patented, 100% lava-proof, wood-made Extractor Pipes will ignore all the useless ore, and dig straight (down) for valuable liquids, like water and, especially, lava.

Due to advanced refinement methods, the extraction will even yield in FIVE filled buckets per block of liquid. "FIVE" is not a defined number, but a steady and semi-random variable.

Actual liquid yield cannot be calculated and may vary. As well, liquids can only be stored in empty buckets, located in chests placed next to a miner.

A good example for a high-yield, extremely-efficient and especially-industrial-looking mining area can be found via this link.
