The Iron Furnace is 15% faster and 25% more fuel effective then Furnace, and using alternative fuel value calculation.

Each operation cost 160 units at speed of 20 units per second, resulting in 8 seconds per smelting operation vs. 9.25 of normal furnace.

Burning values are: Sticks 100;

Sapling 100;

Other wooden items - 300;

Fuel ?

NOTE: Lava buket inside normal furnace will burn 100 items.

Unused heat will be lost, uncompleted smelting will be canceled. If you place single wooden item inside (300 energy) it will smelt single item and waste remaining heat, cost smelting second item cost 20 more energy.

Two possible recipes available, using a stone furnace reduces the cost by 3 iron.
