Complete process of creation[edit]

To create Industrial Diamond from scratch, you need:

  • 64 Coal
  • 1 Obisidian OR Bricks OR Iron (Block)
  • 8 Flint
  • Grid Compressor.png
- Power to run Compressor for 9 items (8 Grid Coal Ball.png,1 Grid Coal Chunk.png)
  • Grid Macerator.png
- Power to run Macerator for 64 items (64 Coal)

The first step is to gather the materials, then macerate the Coal into Coal Dust. Combine the Coal Dust with Flint to create Coal Ball, and then compress 8 Coal Balls into 8 Compressed Coal Balls. Use these with either Obsidian, a Brick Block, or an Iron Block in the center to create a Coal Chunk. Complete the process by compressing the chunk to get an Industrial Diamond.

Notes[edit]

Industrial Diamonds can be used as a replacement for Diamonds in all IndustrialCraft² recipes that use Diamonds as well as most vanilla game recipes, except for Diamond Armor, Diamond Blocks and any recipes that use Diamonds that were added via different mods.

Industrial Diamonds cannot be mixed with normal Diamonds in a single recipe, they need to be all Diamonds or all Industrial Diamonds for it to work.
