The Heat Exchanger is used to move heat within the Nuclear Reactor and Pressure Vessel Reactor.

Hull Exchange Rate refers to the amount of heat the Heat Exchanger will take from the reactor hull per reactor tick

Component Exchange Rate refers to the amount of heat the Heat Exchanger will take from adjacent components per reactor tick


Due to its low heat capacity, the Heat Exchanger will easily melt down if it does not have sufficient cooling. It should not be placed next to components that have high heat output such as Grid Uranium Cell.png Uranium Cells.
