The Electric Furnace is the better and more expensive version of the Iron Furnace.
One advantage of this device compared to the others is that the Electric Furnace is 12.5% faster and, as the name indicates, it uses Energy.
You can put the item you want to smelt in the upper slot and in the lower slot, if you don't have a direct Cable connection, an energy storage item like a Single-use Battery.
