What do you think we would make of this? Cake? No!

We created a completely new Furnace for you, THE ELECTRIC FURNACE.
The Electric Furnace is the better and expensiver version of the Iron Furnace.

As everyone knows, burning things to smelt stuff is reaaaaally old-school. It's like using a Commodore 64. And who's using one right now? Noone, right!
One advantage of this device to the others is that the Electric Furnace is 12,5% faster and it can use, like the name already said, Energy.

An electrical powered device has 3 important advantages.
You can put in the upper slot the item, you want to smelt and in the lower slot you can put either, if you got a direct Cable connection, nothing or a energy storage item like Single-use Battery.

First of all, without the wasteful burning of random stuff, much less energy is wasted during operation, meaning would could improve the smelting time of our all-beloved Iron Furnace by further 12.5%!
Now, that alone would be a reason to instantly upgrade to Electric Furnaces, wouldn't it?
BUT IT COMES EVEN BETTER!
Instead of causing massive pollution and shamefully wasting ressources, Electric Furnaces are powered by, duh, ELECTRIC ENERGY! This energy is brought to you in form of our
ueber-l33t T500-Rechargeable Energy Storation Unit. Or, for short: RE Battery.
These little thingys can store quite high loads of energy and will power Electric Furnaces for a long, long time.
But what happens if you just want to smelt 5 iron ore, wouldn't such an ueber-powerful battery be a waste?
FRIKKIN NO! Because the 3rd advantage of an Electric Furnace is, it will not waste any energy if it isn't currently smelting something.
You can just charge it up with a battery and then smelt what you want, whenever you want.
Deal? Deal! HAYO!

The Electric Furnace is the better and expensiver version of the Iron Furnace.

One advantage of this device to the others is that the Electric Furnace is 12,5% faster and it can use, like the name already said, Energy.

You can put in the upper slot the item, you want to smelt and in the lower slot you can put either, if you got a direct Cable connection, nothing or a energy storage item like Single-use Battery.
