The ElectricCurrent Manipulator is a two-purpose-device.

First of all, it can be use to tune MFE's to assign a specified power output, different from the standard 32EU/s on. Each click on the button will increase the Output by 1 EU/s.

Upon exceeding the maximum possible Output, which is amazing 64 EU/s, it will jump back to 1.

This is important, because of a currents behavior in the energy net:

Sending HIGHER currents will effectively waste less energy on travel. If you send five times a 10 EUs Current along cable, wasting 4 EU on each send (due to cable length),

you will only receive 30 EU on the end.

If you send a single 50 EUs package, it will loose 4 EU, and end up with 46 on the end.

On the other hand, overpowering machines with to high current can cause wasted energy. If a machine is charged 599/600 and you send 50 EU in, it will be powered, but waste 49 EU.

If you send a continuous stream, strong enough to power machines permanently (you can check exact values further down), it will waste (at max!) only a few EU.

Per smelting!

As well, you may click ANY cable, to instantly measure the sum of all currents running through it.

Extremely valuable for determining how to wire stuff up for maximum efficiency.

Right clicking on nothing / invalid blocks / air will cause to change the measuring time frame of the EC Manipulator, to make measuring of unsteady or oversteady currents easier.

HAYO for an hayoish Tool!
