To mine Copper Ore, you can use any pickaxe besides from wooden pickaxe.
Copper Ore is primarily used in the construction of Copper Ingots, and can be placed in a Macerator to create Copper Dust. Each ore Macerated returns 2 dust, similar to iron and other minerals, thus doubling the amount of ingots a piece of ore can create.
Copper Ore can be found on layers 0-48.
