Copper Cables are tier 2, and are capable of handling up to 128 EUp (medium voltage), losing 1 EU every 5 blocks.

Electric Shock[edit]
If the player comes in contact with Uninsulated Copper Cable, they will get an electric shock which damages the player. It is good practice to insulate your cables to avoid this.
This feature is disabled in Experimental versions of IC2
