See:

Usage
You have to power the Turning Table with KineticEnergy/kU as example by Electric Kinetic Generator and put the Lathing Tool and the Iron Turning Blank in the right slot.

Tiny Piles of Iron Dust will be randomly produced whenever an Iron Turning Blank is modified, and Sticks randomly produced whenever a Wooden Turning Blank is modified.
Drill
To craft the drill blank for the Diamond Drill:
{{Grid/Turning Table
To craft the handle blank for the Mining Laser:

Important! Take note that once the blank has been modified in the turning table and dusts are produced, there's no going back to fix back that small part and that blank will be wasted if it produces nothing! Just like how mining your MFSU with a pickaxe brings it back to square one with lapotron crystals wasted.

You don't want that to happen to your efforts!
Brandonhttps://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=Kinetic_Units&diff=17959Kinetic Units2015-05-05T13:53:39Z
Brandon:

Experimental
The Kinetic Unit is also new kind of energy in IC2 Experimental.
It's produced by kinetic generators like a Kinetic Wind Generator or simply a Manual Kinetic Generator.

Connecting
When you want to connect a Kinetic Producer to a Kinetic Generator
you have to look for the output and the input. You have to do it like how you connect Heat Conductors on the texture of Heat Based Machines :they have to face each other so that they aren't visible.

So far, there are only 2 kinetic acceptors: The Turning Table and Kinetic Generator.
Brandonhttps://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=Biogas&diff=17958Biogas2015-05-05T13:43:43Z
Brandon:

Biogas is a type of fluid that can be readily used as fuel in a Semifluid Generator or to generate heat in a Fluid Heat Generator.

How to obtain
Biogas can be obtained in a Fermenter with Biomass.

See: Crafting Guide

Fermenting Speeds
Fermenting speeds can be greatly affected by different types of heat generators used. The Solid Heat Generator is the slowest while the Electric Heat Generator and the Liquid Heat Exchanger is the fastest.

Renewable Energy
By creating a farm maintained by a crop harvester, you can create energy to supply the demand of your hungry machines!

1. Prepare the area need for crops. You will need the Crop Harvester to harvest crops unless you have a better alternative.

*1x Macerator for Bio Chaff
*1x Canning Machine for Biomass
*1x Fermenter for Biogas
*1x Heat Generator to run the fermenter. I would recommend the Fluid Heat Generator.
*Infinite water source
*Ejector upgrades

Note: Using the Electric Heat Generator will always result in a net loss of energy!

Note that the fermentation from biomass into biogas uses an additional fuel source or electrical power. The latter of which will result in an overall loss of power, which means that this is not a valid means of power generation.
Storing large amounts of biogas in a liquid container could, however, provide a player with a backup power source for later use. (IC2 Experimental 2.2.716)

In that regard, point 3 on the page is actually incorrect.

I have experimented it and I disagree with your comment.

1000mb/ 1 biogas cell generates 31984.0 EU in a semifluid generator and after using the pump, fluid/solid canning machine and the macerator(inclusive of internal buffer for EU. Macerator is equipped with ejector upgrade and the pump uses the fluid ejector upgrade. Results obtained when everything stops operation[including the pump to fill its tank and fluid/solid canning machine]) the EU left is 27344.0, meaning that the energy used is 4640 EU.

The Fluid Heat Generator uses 120mb of biogas to process 10mb of biomass into biofuel. Since the Fluid Heat Generator has 1000mb of biogas in the beginning, it will have 880mb of biogas remaining. The 200mb of biogas produced from fermenting 10mb of biomass shows that there is a net gain. Indeed a net gain of 20mb of biogas.

As the Fluid Heat Generator begins to get clogged with biogas, the fermenter stops working. The excess amount of biogas could then be converted into EU.

The 200mb of biogas from the fermenter produces 6400.0 EU from the Semifluid Generator. As the machines use 4640 EU, we are left with 1760 EU. Hence, there is an energy gain which is 1760 EU.

The Jetpack is an equippable tool that allows the player to fly for as long as the fuel in the Jetpack lasts. Flying is performed by holding down the jump key. It also has a Hover Mode, which can be toggled by pressing the M key.

The Jetpack is limited to a maximum flying height of ~245 meters (blocks) above the bedrock layer. For comparison, the Electric Jetpack is limited to ~185 meters above bedrock.

Experimental
In Hover Mode, holding the jump key will make the player fly up slowly, while releasing it will allow the player to remain at the altitude that he/she is.

Outdated
In Hover Mode, holding the jump key will make the player descend at about one quarter speed, while releasing it will make the player fall at about half speed..
There is also a mostly superior, electric, version of this tool, the Electric Jetpack.

Refueling
A fully fueled Jetpack can properly fly for about 60 seconds, followed by about 8 seconds of low power mode (which can only slow the player's descent, instead of fly).
Experimental
As of 2.x, the Jetpack needs to be refueled in a different way. Since the biofuel and coalfuel cells no longer exist, the Jetpack is now fueled with Biogas. The jetpack is refueled by placing it in a Canning Machine, or inside a Bottling Plant. Biofuel is made inside the Fermenter.
{{Grid/Canning Machine

Outdated
The Jetpack can be refueled by placing it in the bottom of a Canning Machine, and placing 6 fuel cells (i.e. Coalfuel Cells or Biofuel Cells) in the top of the Canning Machine. 6 CoalFuel Cells will give about 95% fuel, and 6 Biofuel Cells will give about 30% fuel. As such, there is no way fully fuel an empty Jetpack without wasting some fuel.
HAYO
We present you the intimidating, delicate and surely amazing movement device of the future:

The Jetpack, HAYO!

Everyone knows, owning a Jetpack is the dream of every miner. Actually it's everyone's dream.

Thus, we decided to make another dream come true and invented this sweet Jetpack.

The Jetpack Move-It-Tiki-Style 999 has everything you need to conquer the air:

Thrusters, advanced tin straps, forwards thrusters and even a fuel tank! And don't forget the full automatic Chicken Launcher and the integrated Mr. Cappuccino for flight breaks.

We are not responsibly for starvation caused by not filling up the containers of the food supply equipment. In the current version of the Jetpack Move-It-Tiki-Style, said containers do not exist.

Just equip it like a casual chest armor, though it's being strapped on the back, and hold SPACE to fly around... until your Fuel runs out that is...

Like how? Well, he makes the pages well-organized and other necessary things...
People will definitely like your wiki and even support it if it is nicely done. Right?
-Brandon

Yeah, yeah, same stuff... But enough of this,
let's get to more interesting stuff!

How I got to know IndustrialCraft
Spotlights that interest me
Definitely from mod spotlights available on YouTube.

"IndustrialCraft 2 adds a whole bunch of new machines to use at your convenience, new toys to play with and worldgen features! You guys should give it a try!"—Anonymous. And that made me interested in it.

Testing the mod
Because NEI(Not Enough Items) isn't installed, I barely deciphered the recipes to certain items, with the exception of the few items that have recipes that can be easily discovered. For example, compressed coal ball is definitely a piece of coal ball in a compressor.

A gadget that I love the most is the Mining Laser—mining in just a click from the mouse! One of the highly recommended arsenal at your disposal.

There's Just So Much More to Discover!
I am slowly but surely discovering new things and how the machines work. From a simple Macerator to a complex Nuclear Reactor, you should definitely discover things(best when in Creative Mode).

Experiments and Useful Builds by Me
Here are some builds and experiments that I have made. Go crazy with UU-Matter production or make yourself coffee by simply pressing a button.

P.S. May not be suited for the beginning/early-game. Enjoy!
Brandonhttps://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=Biomass&diff=17623Biomass2015-04-06T09:12:22Z
Brandon:

Biomass is a type of fluid that can be fermented to produce Biogas.

How to obtain
Biomass can be easily obtained in a Canning Machine.

Biomass cannot be used directly for fuel. It must be fermented in a Fermenter into biogas before it can be used as fuel.

10 mB(milibuckets) of biomass will produce 200 mB of biogas.
Brandonhttps://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=User:Brandon&diff=17615User:Brandon2015-04-05T10:38:09Z
Brandon: More stuff coming up! Stay tuned.

MOX Nuclear Fuel
In IC2 Experimental, MOX Nuclear Fuel is the way of the future! Despite lasting only half as long as Enriched Uranium Nuclear Fuel, MOX is capable of much more power generation. MOX fuel becomes more efficient as the reactor heat (as a percent) increases. It scales up to 5x efficiency at 99.9% max heat. With this, MOX can reach reactor efficiencies of up 30, although they need amazing cooling because any escaping might cause slight overheating issues.

Liquid Heat Exchanger is a block which extracts heat from specific fluids. This machine requires at least two additional Heat Conductors in order to function. As of build 694, the only two acceptable input fluids are Lava and Hot Coolant.

Usage
When you place a Liquid Heat Exchanger in the world, the output face will be the side closest to you. It is distinguishable by the orange square, which is actually that Heat Conductor from the crafting recipe. Like all other , the heat is sent out the output face, so a input face connects here.

Using (right-clicking on) the Liquid Heat Exchanger will open its GUI. The center of the GUI consists of ten slots. Heat Conductors go in here: at least two and at the most ten. Each Heat Conductor increases the heat yield per milliBucket of fluid by 10hU, so it is highly recommended to use all 10 slots. The minimum output is therefore 20hU, and the maximum is 100hU. The current output is displayed on the top of the GUI.

On the left and right sides are two internal tanks for the input (left) and output (right) fluids. Each milliBucket of fluid is worth 200 * [number of Heat Conductors] hU. Beneath each fluid tank are two slots. The left slot is for input cells, and the right slot is for output cells. Either normal or may be used. The right slot is for output cells. The input cells under the input tank should be filled with valid input fluids; they will be emptied into the input tank as needed and, if Universal Fluid Cells were used, the empty Universal Fluid Cell will be returned in the output cell slot under the input tank. The input cells under the output tank should be empty cells, and the output cells under the output tank will be filled with the output fluid.

This chart summarizes the recipes which made in this machine:
Input Fluid
Output Fluid
Lava
Pahoehoe Lava
Hot Coolant
Coolant

The Liquid Heat Exchanger will only run if there is a place for the heat to go; it will not extract heat from the input fluid unless there is sufficient room for all of the heat and resulting output fluid. It is also always "on", and will produce heat whenever it can. Redstone signals do not affect the Liquid Heat Exchanger.

Upgrades
The Liquid Heat Exchanger takes Fluid Ejector Upgrades and Ejector Upgrades. The Fluid Ejector Upgrade is highly recommended, as this allows you to automatically output the Coolant or Pahoehoe Lava into a Fluid Distributor. Upgrades go into one of the three slots on the bottom-middle of the GUI.

Trivia
*It uses almost 10 buckets of Lava providing heat to produce 20 Refined Iron in a Blast Furnace.
*One bucket of Lava will produce 20,000hU. This is equal to 10,000EU using a Stirling Generator. By comparison, a Geothermal Generator will produce exactly twice as much (20,000EU).
*Pahoehoe Lava can only be made in the Liquid Heat Exchanger.
*The only way to use Hot Coolant is with the Liquid Heat Exchanger to produce hU.
*Liquid Heat Exchangers pair well with Stirling Generators.

Experimental
Coolant is an important fluid added in the Experimental Builds of IC2 in order to make Coolant Cells, and cool Nuclear Reactors in heat mode.

Recipe
Coolant can be made in 2 different ways, both in the Canning Machine:

|
The first method is to put 1 bucket of water into the left hand tank per coolant cell, via pumping it in (using a Pump for example, using a Fluid Ejector Upgrade to push fluid from another machine into the tank, or by shift-right clicking on the canning machine with a Universal Fluid Cell filled with water. Then, you insert 8 lapis Dust into the middle slot per coolant cell, and providing the canning machine has power, it will make liquid coolant.

Coolant can be more effectively made using Distilled Water, so that only 1 lapis dust is needed per bucket of coolant, opposed to 8 with normal water.

Coolant can be extracted from the canning machine using universal fluid cells, but the best method to get it into cells is to put Empty Cells in the top left hand slot of the canning machine, so the coolant will instead go into the cells opposed to the right hand tank. If there is coolant in the right hand tank of the canning machine, it can be pumped or fluid ejector upgraded into another canning machine, or into a Bottling Plant, where with the canning machine in fill cell from tank mode, and empty cell is put in the left hand slot

Uses
Coolant can be placed in the world, but this however has no useful purpose other than looking nice. The most common use of liquid coolant is to make 10k Coolant Cells, crafting it like shown:

Liquid Coolant is also used in nuclear reactors when they are active. The heat can be vented through various Heat Vent to the coolant tanks to make Hot Coolant. The hot coolant can then be used in a Liquid Heat Exchanger with a Stirling Generator to use the heat to generate EU. The hot coolant will then be cooled and will become a regular coolant which can be used back in the reactor.
