The Crop-Matron will monitor nearby crop sticks and will automatically apply [[Fertilizer]], water and [[Weed-EX]] as needed. Water can be added to the Crop-Matron with [[Universal Fluid Cell|Universal Fluid Cells]], or by pumping in water directly.

Use [[Weed-EX]] sparingly, since overuse of [[Weed-EX]] will affect crops negatively.

All these items need to be manually supplied and placed inside the Crop-Matron's GUI.

To prove you're more then just a replaceable, puny, biological machine used to perform minor tasks for <s>my personal pleasure</s> the whole company, we provided you advanced means to perform your agricultural research tasks:

First off, you are now officially permitted to assemble a "Crop-Matron".
This machine is designed to do your previous assignment: Sitting next to your crops and providing Fertilizer and Hydration for them.
A single Crop-Matron can, if sufficiently powered, cover an crop area in a 4block-radius around it, with up to +-1 height meter difference.
Be advised, to promote our employees working by hand, the machine is designed not to be as efficient as manual fertilizing/hydration.

Hydration Cell

Urbndude: Hydration cells can't be used in crop matrons anymore.

Cell of highly refined water, made from placing a [[Water Cell]] into an extractor to make a hydration cell.

Simply right-clicking the cell onto some IC [[Crops]] will consume some of the water and hydrate the plant for a while. Hydration Cells can no longer be used inside a [[Crop-Matron]]. They now only accept [[Universal Fluid Cell|Universal Fluid Cells]] that are filled with water, or water can be pumped in directly.

== HAYO ==

As well, we recently started experiments with a liquid called H2OEX2, simply referred to as "HowToHex". HowToHex can be refined from basic water by using the patended Extraction device "Dejuicer Device of Doom", created and sold by our co-concern "Industrial Craft Machine Corp.". Fill a metric litre of water (simplifie to the intelligence level of a common employee: a bucket) into a patented "Tin Cell" and refine this cell TWICE within the Extractor. Twice, not once, not thrice. Don't even count to one extraction, unless you intend to proceed to count until two. The four is entirely irrelevant.
