The Multi-Functional Electric storage unit, or MFE, is a Tier 2 energy storage device. It is able to store up to 600,000 [[EU]]. It can accept up to 128 EU-Packet power, with unlimited EU/t, from its 5 input faces and output 128 EU-Packet power, with a max of 128EU/t, from its output face.

Like all storage units, its output face is marked by a special texture, which usually faces the player when the block is placed. The direction of the output face can be changed by right-clicking with a Bronze [[Wrench]] onto any of the input faces of the block; normally, this will point the output face towards the player, but holding Shift while clicking will point the output face in the opposite direction. Be aware that right-clicking the MFE Unit while pointing at its output face will dismantle it.

You can set the redstone behavior by clicking the redstone button on the top left of the GUI.

PROTIP: Do NOT use [[Copper Cable]] on the output face because Copper cable cannot handle more than 32 EU.
![[Rubber Wood| Rubber Tree]]
![[Image:Rubber Tree.png|128px]]
|Unique trees which have pine (dark) logs and birch (light) leaves. They are rare to find, but are more common in Swamp biomes, and are easy to find through their unique "wing" on their leaf design. Their wood is special and has resin holes that may be right-clicked on with a [[Treetap]] to get [[Sticky Resin]], extracted to make one piece of [[Rubber]], be crafted into 3 (instead of 4) wooden planks, or be smelted into normal spruce wood. Their leaves have a small chance of dropping a [[Rubber Wood| Rubber Tree]] Sapling.

World generation rate of Rubber Trees depends on biome:
|width=500px|'''Desert''' 0% chance to generate any Rubber Trees per chunk.

Every log has a 25% chance of having a resin hole, max 3 holes per tree.
::On a similar account: Have you noticed that batboxes seem to be not always connecting to watermills? Try it: Place watermill with water around. Place batbox adjacent to it. Look for power intake. rebuild and look again and take notes. It happens quite often ... i was wondering if i was placing those watermills wrongly. ;) [[User:Fortescue|Fortescue]] 19:09, 22 March 2012 (CET)

== Re:Water Tower Design ==

A more efficient design would be to place a wire between the mill and the central cable/batbox. The difference is an addition .02 EU per tick, which adds up over several hundred water mills. Also, by stringing them along tin cable to meet at a central batbox 39 tin cable away from the furthest mill, you can save a lot of bat boxes by sacrificing a little space. If you're really worried about space, a water mill 'web' with tin cable should be a theoretically effective design, since the packets will never exceed 5EU a tick. This makes it possible to create a ring with a radius of 37, with a rather high potential EU production (forcing an upgrade to an MFE or possibly a MFSU, if my numbers aren't totally off), though the exact number I haven't quite figured out yet.

== Water Mills Effectiveness ==

These watermills doesnt seem to be much effective if unmanned. Even considering the low iron cost, they still are as twice uneffective as the solar panels. Am I not seeing something in the design? [[User:Trepach|Trepach]] 21:19, 25 May 2012 (CEST)

==Latest Version==
Please make a 'latest version' section at the top of the article, to include the latest version of IC and the compatible version of minecraft. Most users are not familiar with version compatibility and expect software to 'just work'. Version (in)compatibility is what stops a lot of people from discovering and utilizing MC mods, and I think we should clearly point it out to educate everyone.
{{Reply|user=Feanturi|agree=-|space=:|reply=well all needed information (f.e. latest IC version, compatible MC version) are given. so i see no point in changing something?}}
: Well yes, it is already there in quantity but not in context: newbies don't understand what it means, that a particular version of IC will ONLY function with a particular version of Minecraft. I feel it needs to be at the very top of the page, to make sure all newbies see it. [[User:Medicdude|Medicdude]] 19:15, 15 April 2012 (CEST)
::Also, usual wiki discussion replies use the colon (<nowiki>:</nowiki>) for replies, I assume you're using an automated feature to assist you, but the way it formats replies is very unusual. [[User:Medicdude|Medicdude]] 19:12, 15 April 2012 (CEST)
: Agree that it would be helpful to note that IC2 is not compatible with MC 1.2.5 explicitly, to save people a lot of trouble (and multiple, multiple forum posts) on the subject. [[User:Anotherbully|Anotherbully]] 00:04, 16 April 2012 (CEST)
{{Reply|user=Feanturi|agree=-|space=::|reply=I won't change anything for too dumb ppl >.>}}
:: Not helpful. You would rather have a million posts to the forums asking the same thing? Doesn't seem very smart. [[User:Anotherbully|Anotherbully]] 00:38, 17 April 2012 (CEST)
== Forge MLMP ==

ModLoaderMP is no longer used as newer Forges include parallel functionality. The Forge dependency should be removed. This page is semiprotected so I cannot edit it. [[User:Hawk777|Hawk777]] 04:39, 26 April 2012 (CEST)

== Installing Directory ==

I am confused of where to put the SMP MCForge files. Should it be in the server.jar file, or in the minecraft.jar file? [[User:Trepach|Trepach]] 22:38, 22 May 2012 (CEST)
