Did you know, what you can use electric current for, besides powering heavy machinery, as well?

Use it to create LIGHT. With the Luminator.

Luminators are specifically modified cables, coated in some stylish-looking glas, emitting light upon being supplied with current.

Please keep in mind, Luminators are NOT machines, but Cables and should be used in wiring accordingly. Even more, they will transport current better then normal Cables, preventing distance-based EU-loss for further 2 blocks.

Of course creating light takes energy and such the Luminator will itself drain some EU from the actual current.

The higher the current, the more energy it will drain and the brighter it will get.

If you give it enough energy, it will even emit powerful radioactive deathrays UV-rays, which can be used to get a neat brown skin or to toast some undead.

Seriously, they will BURN!

Please refrain from attaching a current of more then 31 EUs, though, as this will probably cause inrepairable damage to the Luminator.

Just buy yourself a sweet new Recycler.

Recyclers compress, burn, obliterate and filter EVERYTHING you feed them. LITERALLY! It even ate my shiny diamond block... that wasn't really nice... ... HAYO!

Who cares, because with this devices, i can turn piles of dirt into piles of useful stuff, including many NEW diamonds!

And best of all: It's fast and doesn't use much energy, great, isn't it?

Note: Not every recycling process does successfully return a piece of Scrap. Stop throwing in dirt and instead use valuable ingots, may that will change something.

But, how do you even use the strange stuff coming out from the Recycler?

Easy, just bunch some Scrap together, put a box around it and VOILA, it will suddenly turn into something useful! What exactly? Now... i don't know either, HAYO!

Now, we got Iron Furnaces. And we got Redstone dust that for no apparent reason powers circuits indefinitely.

What do you think we would make of this? Cake? No!

We created a completely new Furnace for you, THE ELECTRIC FURNACE.

As everyone knows, burning things to smelt stuff is reaaaaally old-school. It's like using a Commodore 64. And who's using one right now? Noone, right!

An electrical powered device has 3 important advantages.

First of all, without the wasteful burning of random stuff, much less energy is wasted during operation, meaning would could improve the smelting time of our all-beloved Iron Furnace by further 12.5%!

Now, that alone would be a reason to instantly upgrade to Electric Furnaces, wouldn't it?

BUT IT COMES EVEN BETTER!

Instead of causing massive pollution and shamefully wasting ressources, Electric Furnaces are powered by, duh, ELECTRIC ENERGY! This energy is brought to you in form of our

ueber-l33t T500-Rechargeable Energy Storation Unit. Or, for short: RE Battery.

These little thingys can store quite high loads of energy and will power Electric Furnaces for a long, long time.

But what happens if you just want to smelt 5 iron ore, wouldn't such an ueber-powerful battery be a waste?

FRIKKIN NO! Because the 3rd advantage of an Electric Furnace is, it will not waste any energy if it isn't currently smelting something.

You can just charge it up with a battery and then smelt what you want, whenever you want.

Deal? Deal! HAYO!

It's amazing how much stuff you can craft with a basic workbench isn't it?
Big machines, boats, extremely nimble circuits, everything can be done just with a few tools.

But though this great circumstance, there ARE a few things you just can't do. And you know that.

Using most advanced technology, the Freakin Compress-O-Matic C77 can create a pressure of over 4000 Gibbl. HE HAD A MACERATOR!

Stupid people (this does not apply to custumers or everyone reading this, but to everyone you personally dislike) smelt ore.

What a shameful waste. You just smelt some ore out of the rock and then trash the remains? Nah, only idiots do that.

Every Pro Miner knows, that 50% of a rocks mineral deposits are surrounded by massive rock and can't be obtained by smelting.

For this problem, we invented the Maceratron-E-901!

It uses the combined force of smart technology and brute force to break open every even so small part of stone, effectively doubling the efficiency of gaining ore.

It takes some time, but will completely waste-free and 100%-sure turn the entire ore-rock into dust and then automatically filter the useless stone out.

As a result, it will return you high-quality ore-dust of whatever material you dropped in there.

And, you may guess it, this dust can be smolten into ingots! Isn't that great? You can easyly DOUBLE your entire ore production. Don't hesitate, BUY NOW, HAYO!

Good for playing an Automated Miner, HAYO!

This device is surely most awesome. It wil do your job and doesn't even want to be payed!

The Automated Miner requires two things to run: Energy and Mining Pipes.

Put some Mining Pipes in the upper slot and an energy source (of course we recommend you our T500-Rechargeable Energy Storation Unit here, as well) in the lower one.

Now the Miner will start it's operation, digging and plantting Mining Pipes below him, as well as using the integrated ODE Device to scan for nearby ores.

Once detected, the Miner will dig to the detected ore and harvest it. All harvested ores will then be transported throught he Mining Pipe and ejected on the Surface, next to the Miner.

The Miner will mine all ores in an 5x5 area (with itself in the center), as far down as possible (if you have enough pipes, that is). Upon reaching inpenetrable objects (f.e. Obsidian),

the miner will stop it's operation. You will note this state on the "Operation-Bar" staying full, without anything happnening.

Once you've stripped the entire area, you can just put any sort of block into the upper slot. The Miner will then start WITHDRAWING all laid Mining Pipes and replace them with the filling material (of the upper slot).

This way, you will never "consume" Mining Pipes. If the Miner stops operating in this mod, it has withdrawn all pipes and can be recollected for placing it on a new location.

Come on, let's do this together:

"HOW FRIKKIN AWESOME, HAYO!!!"
Fully Automated Charger/Generator
As a header indicates my idea is based upon automated generating and/or charging RE batteries.
Currently there are few generators that generate and charges batteries
but we have to manage them by ourselves.
They have few disadvantages which are:

We have to manually provide uncharged RE batteries to generator

We have to constantly generators with some kind of fuel depending on type of generator

Generators after charging RE batteries are ejecting them which is good when we stand near the generator. If you will forget about charged battery lying on the ground it will disappear after some time.

And probably some other problems

Making Automated generators would fix all of listed problems. How would that Automated Generator work? It would take all things that he needs and charge batteries by itself. It would also put charged ones into storage. It could be built like this:
I - refined iron
A - advanced circuit
M - advanced machine
G - any sort of generator
L - lapis lazuli block
C - cable

I L I
CMC
AGA

I think it could be activated by redstone or by cable from bottom or top.
Making this kind of machine would make life in IC much easier.

----

: You can change this configuration in IndustrialCraftConfig.txt. I think a automated Generator isn't useful. Why to charge thousand of Batteries?
Radiation
If we have uranium, we must be careful with radiation, because it can kill.

Thinking in this sentence, I made it:

First suggestion:

Do the uranium ore kill, without explosions, only with radiation.

One uranium ore have 5 blocks of radiation, any thing in this area will take damage

--Okay, its good, but how we will use uranium without getting closer?

Second suggestion:

Put in the game Lead Ore. This is the best material to use radioatives things. With a Lead Ore we can build:

Boxes of lead, to store radioative things;

Clothes of lead, to use radioative things;

Walls of lead, to contain radiations from the reactors(you put your reactor in a room of lead);

With this things, the nuke will be more realistic, and the people will not be happy in see uranium closer from your base, only if they have a stock of lead.

--Kiko5 - Tanks for your attention. 04:41, 24 April 2011 (CEST)
Defense Turret
I was thinking of a Defensive Turret/cannon of some sort.

The Tesla coil is great for places that you have a nice power station set up or don't need to walk through alot. Though for small outposts or automated miner setups far away from your base they aren't so practical.

So here we go. After thinking about it I came up with this.

Defense Turret

:C L C
:WMW
:R E R

:C=Circuit
:L=Mining Laser/or new part
:W=Wire
:M=Machine Block
:R=Reinforced Stone
:E=Energy Crystal

Place this block and tie it into electricity. Have it fire at all enemies, but not target the player. For damage I crunched numbers and came up with about 2.5 hearts per shot at a rate of 1 shot every 3 seconds. Electrical use would come out to about 300 EU per shot. This would equate out to 1 shot every 6 seconds with only one max input line at 50 EUs hooked in, but if you hooked in another for 100 EUs you would get the 1 shot per 3 seconds. Firing distance would be between 10~15 blocks. I think the gap in firing time equates the lower EU usage, as these are designed for mining operation/outpost defense. As you establish yourself/if you decide to, you can upgrade the fire rate by hooking in more power. You would obviously want to build more than a few, because of the low damage.

My final thoughts are maybe a redstone on/off feature if it was hooked in.

Firing distance would be between 10~15 blocks. I think the gap in firing time equates the lower EU usage, as these are designed for mining operation/outpost defense. As you establish yourself/if you decide to you can upgrade the fire rate by hooking in more power. You would obviously want to build more a few, because of the low damage.
My final thoughts are maybe a redstone on/off feature if it was hooked in.
Ah, but that's just it, it isn't supossed to be easy, to create such a device would require very advanced Tech, it took International Inc. 12 years to create this just for military use. It would need extremly hard to make parts to create such a wonderous device. To make these things work I was thinking you would use something like the thing with TERRA BYTES.
