That will be included in a Nuclear Engineering tutorial, or if there is none, on the page of the Nuclear Reactor itself. Although I can add info on how to do it if you want. --Viktor Berg 01:09, 6 September 2011 (CEST)
The single use battery is very convenient, which is it's only advantage when compared with it's rechargable counterparts. They are easy to produce and very useful, being able to stack so you can load multiple batteries into a single machine at a time. They are, however, much less efficient than the RE batteries. The reason for this is that when fuel burns in a generator, charging a RE batteries, it gives off 48,000 EU (charging 4.8 batteries per fuel), but when made into single-use batteries, it only gives off 30,000 per fuel can which means you loose 18,000 EU per can. The same applies for Bio fuel, only you loose 17,000 EU which is over half the stored energy it has, not to mention the energy it takes to make the fuel!

These are the facts and figures, but it is up to you wether you choose convenience or efficiency convenience and invest your resources in single-use or RE batteries.
The Mass Fabricator is an advanced machine that requires 2,000,000 EU to generate Matter. It is a considerably high-cost piece of technology that is capable of producing Matter. This material in return is capable of creating almost everything in Minecraft itself, with exceptions (i.e. Bedrock)

Scrap will greatly increase the speed and reduce the cost of the fabricator. It is unknown as to what the blueprints of Matter are due to the technology being relatively new. NOTE: The machine requires electricity in order to consume the material as well. It will not rely on said material for power at all.

Currently, this is the only machine that is capable of accepting high voltage from an HV Transformer directly. If your mass fabricator is far away from your power source, this would be ideal. However, if it is close, remember that the Mass Fabricator will steal half of the EU. Therefore, your HV line will be transmitting in 1000 EU packets instead of 2000 EU, halving its efficiency.

The electric jetpack is a more user friendly version of the old jetpack.

Instead of using coal based fuel and most certainly not existing bio and super fuel, it uses energy!

This jetpack however has much less runtime and therefore it has to be frequently recharged.

But the electric jetpack also has much more control and therefore perfect for exploring caves. Just like the standard jetpack, the electric jetpack has a Hover-Mode in IC2.

While holding space in the "Hover-Mode" might just slightly move you upwards.
If one piece of coal would store 3000 units of power, our RE Battery's power level would be OVER NINE-THOUSAND!
Take that, Vegeta! A lil battery can smelt your entire everything to something else!
Ah, and we didn't mention the big feature of our beloved little gadget yet: It's fully rechargeable and completely indestructible. This is meant serious: You can use it as often as you like to, it will never brake of material exhaustion!
However, since RE Batteries are somewhat fragile and therefore could be dangerous to handle if you bunch them up to a cluster, we even designed a special "T500-Rechargeable Energy Storation Unit Storage Device". The lil battery box is compact, safe and will store six charged Batteries.
And you can even reopen the entire package by simple RIGHT-CLICKING, that's cool, isn't it?
Btw, what does right-clicking even mean?...

I vote to change this to:

First, Cables do not act like redstone, you cannot place them diagonally to travel in a stair formation as they will no automatically connect. You must place cable so that it always connects to other cable to transmit along it.

Starting simple this is the most basic set up without omitting the MFE Transmitter. The max Cable length is achieved here. The cable is 6 long then the receiver is counted as the last hence 7 long. Loss is calculated at every 5 length, but you are given a buffer of 2 for the first segment. You lose 1 EU at every lenght that is too long.

I vote to change this to:

This is the most basic setup: The max Cable length without loss is 9 pieces of cable, with the MFE Transmitter where the 10th piece would go. Energy loss happens when you go over 9 cable lengths. At that point, you lose 1 energy for every 3 more cable you place down. That is, at 10 cable, -1 EU; at 13 cable, -2 EU; at 16 cable, -3 EU; etc...

You might have noticed the pictures on this page download somewhat (yawn.......) slowly. I first thought they where way too big, but downloaded one to my computer and it was only ~700 KB's. Not sure if that is still large for the Interwebs, or if your server here is just giving you a small amount of bandwidth for images.

Just wanted to bring this up because you might be able to get away with smaller file sizes for your images, thus speeding up browsing and saving you bandwidth (in case you have a limit, or pay as you go for data).

The Nuclear Reactor is a known generator to produce EU.

With IndustrialCraft² the reactor system is fully recoded!

Instead of lame Uranium refining, you have to make a good setup for your reactor with all the reactor stuff you can find in the navigation.

But one thing wasn't completly changed: The nuclear melting.

In IC² the reactor can hold a value of heat, which get produced by producing energy with Uranium Cells. This heat can be reduced by stuff like Cooling Cells , Integrated Heat Dispensers and so on.

In addition you can make your reactor bigger with Reactor Chambers. You can have 6 additional Reactor Chambers.

The electric jetpack is a more user friendly version of the old jetpack.
Instead of using coal based fuel and most certainly not excisting bio and super fuel it uses energy!
This jetpack however has much less runtime and therefore it has to be frequently recharged.
But the electric jetpack also has much more control therefore perfect for exploring caves.
Just like the standard jetpack, the electric jetpack will have a Hover-Mode in IC2.
While holding space in the "Hover-Mode" might just slightly move you upwards
