New Template
I wanted to improve the information in some of the tables listing fuel types and usage so i created this. I figured i could make it into a tempate and inclue it at the bottom of all reliant articles so that it's easy to update any changes across the wiki. Thinking about makeing another one for EU usage across all the different machines, macerator, extractor, compressor etc... Anyway if you like it create a new template and ill move the data over and update the corresponding articles. Leave a message on my talk page.
* call it Template:Fuel Usage or something similar
Update Tag Request
Can you implement an update template and inline tag as found in wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Update) Have an optional argument to include the IC version it has been outdated from. Medicdude 01:27, 15 April 2012 (CEST)

Welcome New Wiki Users
Please add a big welcome to new users on the front page. Maybe replace the FAQ statement with a big welcome message to new users, and link to the FAQ page. Medicdude 01:27, 15 April 2012 (CEST)

24 Hour page edit time
Maybe make it so new users can't edit pages until 24 hours after their account is created... alternatively, make it so new users can't edit their own talk page til 24 hours after their account is created seeing as that seems to be the current most common method of spam.

IReactorComponent category for wiki
Since API and code allow unlimited amount of components i suggest single page for mechanics explanation - IReactorComponent with every possible effect listed (heat sink, heat emitter, heat transport, upgrade and soo on)

And page for every buildin component type currently ingame:

Condensator

Heatpack

HeatStorage

HeatSwitch

Plating

Reflector

Vent

Rod

Isotope

With name registration(redirection) to allow better searching for variations of components.

All *old* pages no longer usefull and shoud be renamed into someting like "%s before 106".

thx in advance.
Nuclear Control addon allows you to build efficient monitoring and notification system for your nuclear reactor and energy net. Also you can use Howler Alarm and Industrial Alarm in any case when you want industrial-style notification/alarming system.

Thermal Monitor
Thermal Monitor measures heat level of Nuclear Reactor. If reactor reaches specific heat level, Thermal Monitor changes color of indicator to the red and emits a redstone signal. Right click to open GUI. You can set any temperature in the from 0 to 1 million. Use Sneak + Right click to prevent GUI from opening.

Thermal Monitor block should be placed either directly on your reactor/reactor chamber or on any block near it. When searching for reactor, it checks only one block in each direction. If few reactors are placed near Thermal Monitor, then only first found will be checked for heat level.

Thermal Monitor has three indicator colors:
* gray – reactor isn’t found
* green – reactor is cool
* red – reactor is hot.
