Do you know what you can use all that power for other than heavy machinery?

Use it to create LIGHT, with the Luminator!

Luminators are machines coated in some stylish-looking glass that emit light when supplied with current. They change shape depending on the surface they're placed on: small squares on the ceiling, rectangles on a wall, and large squares on the floor or connected to a cable.

Of course creating light takes energy and so the Luminator will use 0.25 EU/t from an internal 10K EU storage (about 2 days worth of light). It can draw power from a connected power cable or, in IC2 v1.x, be recharged manually by right-clicking with a RE Battery or energy crystal (but not a Lapotron Crystal). Be careful, as right-clicking a luminator can also suck the power right out of a wielded power tool such as a drill&mdash;and the tool won't recharge from your BatPack.

Luminators will not draw power when connected directly to the output face of a Batbox or LV Transformer; they must be connected directly to a cable. For a more subtle look, wire your cables and attach luminators before covering the cables in construction foam from a CF Sprayer.
Maximum Input: 32 EU/t before exploding

The luminator can only handle low voltage (32 EU) so it can only accept power from a batbox or an LV Transformer in step-down mode.

<small>We are fully aware that Tin is a terrible idea for this use and that a Gas Discharge Tube with Tungsten Wire would last a lot longer.<small>
The Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator (also known as RTG) is a generator that is fueled by inserting Pellets of RTG Fuel inside. The pellets will not get used up, making the RTG a source of infinite EU, similar to Solar Panel. However, the drawback is that they can only generate up to 32 EU/t, and the pellets cost a very high amount of resources. The RTG has 6 slots of pellets, and the amount of EU produced increases exponentially as more pellets are added.
Trivia
- Although the RTG uses radioactive Plutonium as fuel and has a Reactor Chamber in it's recipe, it does not emit any radiation at all, meaning it is safe to use near your workshop.
The SupahSafe(TM) White Stuff Generator will generate Electricity from Atomic Decay(TM)!

Now you may complain about it's low energy output and high material costs,BUT DID YOU NOTICE THE FUEL LASTS FOREVER?

Even better thanks to the Fuel's disk strudy casing and design it can be injected and ejected like a CD HAYO!

SupahSafe(TM) is not responisble for heavy radition poisining caused by eating RTG Fuel.
