The QuantumSuit Bodyarmor, like all other pieces of QuantumSuit, stores up to 1 million EU, and can only be recharged in an MFS Unit.
Technical
The following applies to each piece of quantum armor in the set. Each piece of quantum armor stores 1,000,000 EU, and can use up to 39,990 EU in an instant. Each uses 30 EU for every unit of damage they protects against, so each piece can protect against 33,333 half-hearts of damage to the player between charging, or 1,333 at once. They charge at 1000 EU/t in an MFSU, so they can charge fully in 50 seconds.

The following is the percent of damage taken that is absorbed by each piece of armor (when used separately, not as a set).

colspan=1 | Armor Piece
align="right" | Protection Ratio (%)
align="left" | Helmet
align="right" | 15%
align="left" | Bodyarmor
align="right" | 44%
align="left" | Leggings
align="right" | 30%
align="left" | Boots
align="right" | 15%

You may notice that the sum of the protection for each piece is 104%, not 100%. Sadly the protection is only 100% for a full set, so it doesn't heal you when you get blown up, drowned in lava, or some thing like that. It just prevents damage. The way that works is that the effective protection of each piece is divided by 104%. If one piece of armor doesn't provide it's usual level of protection because it just ran out of charge, or it is used beyond it's capacity in an instant (which requires falling from a distance greater than 3000 meters, or being blown up by a nuke from very near by) then they provide whatever level of protection brings the total to or near to 100%. Near to 100% protection in such circumstances isn't going to do you much good though. Still you probably won't have any real worries there, no matter how suicidal and creative you are. Maybe if you bath in a lava pool in the nether for a few hours and fall asleep, or something, this armor may not be adequate.

The maximum damage you can suffer from a fall or explosion while wearing a full set of armor and still have 100% protection is limited by the bodyarmor piece. The maximum damage that each piece can protect you against is 1333 in an instant. When the protection of the bodyarmor is reduced below 40% you will suffer damage. So if you suffer a little more than 1,333 / 0.4 damage (= 3333 damage) you will get hurt. In practice, a fall distance of at least 3340 is necessary to get 1 half-heart of damage. You can suffer such a fall 25 times though before your bodyarmor runs out of EU.

If you wear the helmet, bodyarmor, and leggings with rubber boots, you get 89% protection from what damage you would suffer with the boots alone during a fall. Fall damage is reduced by a factor of 8 with rubber boots, and it doesn't matter during the one fall if they get destroyed. This means that if you suffer 1000 fall damage, 125 will remain after the boots protect you, and the armor will reduce that to 14, so you will probably live.
The Mining Laser is a powerful high-tech tool with a variety of applications. It can be used as an insta-mining tool with a relatively low EU consumption, as well as a high-power AoE block remover, or even as a weapon. All blocks destroyed by the Laser are dropped, with the exception of non-drop blocks like Glass or Leaves. However, due to the destructive nature of the Laser, there is a chance that the block will be destroyed and not drop anything. IndustrialCraft machines drop a Machine block, as if they were destroyed by a pickaxe. As of 1.337, the Mining Laser can use energy from a LapPack.

As of 1.90, the Mining Laser has 7 different modes. These modes can be switched by holding the M key and right-clicking.
Firing Modes
The Mining Laser can store 200.000 EU, which determines how many shots of each type can be fired. The block penetration distance depends on the hardness of the particular block. In this chart, block penetration is based on smoothstone and dirt. For explosive shots, the penetration radius denotes the radius of the explosion.

It should also be noted that the Mining Laser can be used in Low-Focus mode to mine both faster than the Diamond Drill and at half the energy cost! HAYO!

Super-Heat mode was added in 1.90.

If a super-heat laser is fired on a sand or cobble block, the block will be replaced with a glass/smooth stone block instead of dropping one. Doing so immediately terminates the beam.

When a super-heat laser is fired at a block such as smoothstone, where the 'normal' drop can be smelted into the block itself, the block will be dropped as if mined with a silk touch-enchanted tool.
When a super-heat laser is fired at a clay block, 4 brick items will be dropped.
The Electric Furnace is an improved and more costly version of the Iron Furnace.

The benefits of this device compared to the Iron Furnace are that the Electric Furnace is 12.5% faster and, as the name indicates, uses electricity. By running on electricity instead of burning items, it is able to shut off immediately upon finishing (and thus avoid wasting energy). You can best take advantage of this by having some form of energy storage between the Electro Furnace and the generator(s).

The Electric Furnace uses approximately 390 EU per operation. When connected to a Generator, one piece of (char)coal will provide 10 operations. An Iron Furnace, in comparison, uses 400 EUs per operation (Coal has an EU yield of 4000 in a Generator and provides 10 operations in an Iron Furnace) and it doesn't stop when there is nothing left to smelt. Additionally, an Electric Furnace can be powered by alternative sources such as Solar Panels , BatBox , MFE or MFSU . NOTE: To use the Electric Furnace with a MFE or MFSU , you MUST use a transformer or you will make the Electric Furnace EXPLODE.
Trivia
The Electric Furnace can accept overclocker upgrades, meaning that it can potentially smelt items faster than its advanced counterpart, the Induction_Furnace. While an Electric Furnace with a large number of overclockers can smelt items much faster (about 20 items per second max) without drawing energy when inactive, it can only process one stack at time, making it horrendously energy-inefficient in comparison.
