This tutorial is intended as extension to the basic tutorial from Kingy24's wiring tutorial
Written for IC V.55

Simple Wiring
Advance Wiring
Cable Splitting / Branching
Branching a cable is like Branching a river's power. The more you branch, the less each end get the power (EU/f).

You can only split to TWO cable at a time, and if you want to split up to three or more, you need to split it as a branch of a branch.

In most case (No relay), the total energy in the system will be conserved.

Power IS NOT Energy. Think of it like Power is the muscle strength, and energy is the sugar.

This is what happen to the power inside a branched cable:

The power distribution is still valid EVEN IF one of the branch is empty branch (no machine, no MFE or MFSU, just one block cable extended).

But do not worry, in the case of empty branch , the only thing happen to the energy is simply slowing down the energy transfer rate by half, no energy loss, just slower.

In case of a complex cable switch which involve two separate input and more than 2 separate output, the calculation can be done as if each input is independent of other input, but later superimposed.

Machines wiring
To wire a row of machines to an output, the split distribution rule is still valid. Each machine attached to the cable will be considered as a split/branch. Eventhough the machine is off, a branch is still a branch. The next machine will only get half of the power that the previous machine get even though no machine is on.

In order to have an efficiency power allocation, make sure that all machines are plugged in a way that the machine's continuous consumption is less or equal to the power it can obtained from the cables.

For example in the picture, recycler use minimum of 1 EU/f for continuous operation. If the MFE/MFSU output it set at 32 EU/f , recycler can be attached as first to fifth machines.
But power hungry electro furnace need minimum of 3 EU/f for continuous operation, there for, you can only attach it as first to third machines if you want a smooth smelting/furnacing.

Multiple Output Cable Switch/Selection
Let's say that you have 4 different direction you want to direct your power to, but you want to allow one or two direction at a time to get the maximum power you can give with minimum split,
there is one easy trick: sticky pistons.

The idea of using sticky pistons is to transform a power connection from a branched cable to non-branched cable.

Using Switch cable can be useful however, the power branch might reduce the power so low that you cannot work with it anymore,

because branched connection with switch cable still count as branched cable EVEN IF there is no connection.

A non-pulsing High Voltage connection
ATTENTION: High Voltage cabling is highly dangerous. Once the system is setup, touching a live wire is essentially an instant death.

This information focuses on the huge energy transfer with HV-transformers as repeaters , zero energy loss for Mass Fabricator ONLY.

In order to achieve a constant 2000 EU/f power transfer, there is only 1 simple requirement: 2000 EU/f Low/Medium Voltage TOTAL input to the FIRST HV transformer.

Experiments have been done regarding adding powers into subsequent HV transformers, and the results show that the total output has an average 600-1000 EU/f instead of 2000 EU/f as inputted into the system.

Distributed Energy Generation , Energy Storage and Energy Consumption Using HV Ring method
First, what is HV ring? HV ring is a setup of HV Transformer in a circular pattern, in a small distance between each transformer to prevent energy loss through cable resistance.

The bigger the 'complex', the bigger the ring need to be to connect all of them in a circular pattern. Each 'HV transfo station' will be able to contribute or use the shared energy in the system.

For energy generation, energy can be inputted into the ring by connecting the generators to one of the HV transfo 'station' as input.

For energy storage, the energy will be 'sap' from a split in the ring to a set of capacitors. The Capacitor outputs will be connected back to the right 1 HV transfo station away from the initial split.

For energy consumption, use the same split as the energy storage.

Theoretically, all energy is conserved, but it is possible that at certain point, the HV ring is over-saturated with power momentarily, and a small capacitors at each energy generation station is suggested.

ATTENTION , each HV ring can efficiently handle energy transaction at the maximum approved performance of 1000 EU/f. It is theoretically not possible to achieve 2000 EU/f energy transfer without complex arrangement.
However, it is allowable and possible to have multiple HV ring connected to each other in parallel to increase energy transfer performance.

Have you ever been bugged by Creepers blowing up your Solar Panels while you were cleaning them? Couldn't bother to dig a Anti-Creeper trench?

Then use this, the ultimate, low-cost, high-efficiency, lazy-guy way of keeping your house&home safe: Force Fields!

A Force Field Generator will, upon receiving power, instantly convert all energy delivered to create a giant dome of pure Energy around your house, in a cube-like sphere.

Even better: The more energy you supply, up to 256 EUs, the bigger the dome will become. Bigger = Better = Win = Creeper sad

As well, you could apply redstone to the ForceField Generator to temporarily shut it off without removing any wires.

Now, we assume your base is shielded and you just come back from some logging... but how do you get back in?

For this reason, you can use the FreqTrans to remotely open a gap in the shield dome: To do this, you'll need to store the Field Generators frequency by right-clicking it (BEFORE you leave the dome, obviously!).

Then, you can at any time click one of the 6 gate-shield blocks to open up the shield wall and disable the Field Generator temporarily.

The gate-shield blocks are located once on each side of the cube, always on the same axis as the Field Generator.

<small>We are juristically forced to state: The shield dome is NOT impenetrable, though extremely resistant and extraordinary fast regenerating destroyed blocks.<br/>
As well, contact with the dome shield is not recommended.

It is possible to 'drop' through the shield by lasering the upper part of the shield you stand on.

Machines wiring
To wire a row of machines to an output, the split distribution rule is still valid. Each machine attached to the cable will be considered as a split/branch. Eventhough the machine is off, a branch is still a branch. The next machine will only get half of the power that the previous machine get even though no machine is on.
A Force Field Generator will, upon receiving power, instantly convert all energy delivered to create a giant dome of pure Energy around your house, in a cube-like sphere.
The Mass Fabricator is an advanced machine that requires 2,000,000 EU to generate Matter. It is a considerably high-cost piece of technology that is capable of producing Matter. This material in return is capable of creating almost everything in Minecraft itself, with exceptions (i.e. Bedrock)

There is a certain material that will greatly increase the speed and reduce the cost of the fabricator, but it is currently unknown what it is at this time. It is also unknown as to what the blueprints of Matter are due to the technology being relatively new. NOTE: The machine requires electricity in order to consume the material as well. It will not rely on said material for power at all.

Currently, this is the only machine that is capable of accepting high voltage from an HV Transformer directly, and it is recommended to do so. A simple setup would be to place the Mass Fabricator on top of a powered HV Transformer for best results.
Efficiency
The single use battery is very convenient, which is it's only advantage when compared with it's rechargable counterparts. They are easy to produce and very useful, being able to stack so you can load multiple batteries into a single machine at a time. They are, however, much less efficient than the RE batteries. The reason for this is that when fuel burns in a generator, charging a RE batteries, it gives off 48,000 EU (charging 4.8 batteries per fuel), but when made into single-use batteries, it only gives off 30,000 per fuel can which means you loose 18,000 EU per can. The same applies for Bio fuel, only you loose 17,000 EU which is over half the stored energy it has, not to mention the energy it takes to make the fuel!

These are the facts and figures, but it is up to you wether you choose convenience or efficiency convenience and invest your resources in single-use or RE batteries.

We present you the intimidating, delicate and surely amazing movement device of the future:

The Jetpack, HAYO!

Everyone knows, owning a Jetpack is the dream of every miner. Actually it's everyone's dream.

Thus, we decided to make another dream true and invented this sweet Jetpack.

The Jetpack Move-It-Tiki-Style 999 has everything you need to conquer the air:

Trusters, advanced tin straps, forwards trusters and even a fuel tank! And don't forget the full automatic Chicken Launcher and the integrated Mr. Cappucino for flight breakes.

As well, it includes most advanced security techniques. To prevent from accidents like children flying off to escape from school and similar stuff,

the Jetpack needs to be activated first, by holding it and rightclicking.

Aftet that, just equip it like a casual chest armor, though it's being strapped on the back, and hold SPACE to fly around... until your Fuel runs out that is...
|image=cable_ig.png
|transparent=No
|stackable=Yes (64)
}}
Cables are the most useful Wiring mechanism introduced since... now... Redstone Wires, i guess. <!---->

You can link Cables to anything in any angle, as long as the cable-sides keep touching each other. However, caution is advised, no one likes shunt faults.

All futurely introduced energy-generating machines will be capable of emitting electric current. They will only do this if not busy with something else, though.

If however, some sort of Generator is creating energy, without actually using it, it will start emitting electric current. This can be absorbed and transmitted via Cables.

A cable can theoretically transmit current in any direction, but if you power one end of a long cable, the power will always run to the other end, you can be assured.

If you now have a generator, connect it directly to an energy-using machine via cables, the generator will power the machine. For example an Electric Furnace.

Electric machines have only minimal storage, thus they cannot "charge up" or "save energy" for real. Some machines, however, will require some more energy to start running. This means that it will take a few seconds of laid electric current for the machine to start working again.

As well, not every generator will emit the same power of current. Even more, transporting energy via cables is not perfect and thus the emit'd power will become less and less potent, the further it travels.

A good aspect about cables, however, is that you can SPLIT them. If a current finds more than one possible way to go, the energy will be split in half and distributed to both new ways equally.

We do not, however, recommend trying to split up a cable into 3 lanes at once. Experience has shown cables will melt if you try to do so. You can, however, split one of the 2 cables a second time, resulting in a total of 3 lanes.

This way, you can possibly even power multiple machines with a single generator, HAYO!
Dusts are gained from macerating their respective ores. With the exception of coal, which only returns one dust per piece, all ores when macerated will give 2 dusts of their type.

Dusts (appart from coal dust and glowstone dust) can be smelted into ingots, allowing for 2 ingots per ore. Dusts may also be used in a variety of recipes for machines and items.
