The Iron Furnace is 20% faster and 25% more fuel efficient than a Furnace. For example, it can smelt 10 items per piece of (Char)Coal compared to only 8 in a regular Furnace and it takes 8 seconds instead of 10 to perform the operation.

Two possible recipes are available. Using a stone furnace reduces the cost by 3 Iron.
A single RE Battery can store 10,000 EU, and can recharge your electric tools by simply right-clicking, using the current charge in the RE Battery. You can recharge the battery at a BatBox, MFE, or MFSU in the top slot, or charge the EU Storge Block by puting the battery in the lower slot. You can use it as often as you like, it will never break of material exhaustion!

The Electric Furnace is an improved and more costly version of the Iron Furnace.

The benefits of this device compared to the Iron Furnace are that the Electric Furnace is 12.5% faster and, as the name indicates, uses electricity. By running on electricity instead of burning items, it is able to shut off immediately upon finishing (and thus avoid wasting energy). You can best take advantage of this by having some form of energy storage between the Electro Furnace and the generator(s).

The Electric Furnace uses approximately 390 EU per operation. When connected to a Generator, one piece of (char)coal will provide 10 operations. An Iron Furnace, in comparison, uses 400 EUs per operation (Coal has an EU yield of 4000 in a Generator and provides 10 operations in an Iron Furnace) and it doesn't stop when there is nothing left to smelt. Additionally, an Electric Furnace can be powered by alternative sources such as Solar Panels , BatBox , MFE or MFSU . NOTE: To use the Electric Furnace with a MFE or MFSU , you MUST use a transformer or you will make the Electric Furnace EXPLODE.

Usage
Simply add something to smelt in the top slot and supply the Electric Furnace with EU.
*The lower slot is used to provide power from a RE Battery or other energy storage item if a direct Cable connection is not available.
*To carry items to the furnace using BuildCraft pipes, you must have the pipe feeding into the top of the furnace.

Each operation costs 390 EU.<br>
Maximum input: 32 EU/t before exploding

Trivia
The Electric Furnace can accept overclocker upgrades, meaning that it can potentially smelt items faster than its advanced counterpart, the Induction_Furnace. While an Electric Furnace with a large number of overclockers can smelt items much faster (about 20 items per second max) without drawing energy when inactive, it can only process one stack at time, making it horrendously energy-inefficient in comparison.
The Tesla Coil is a device that damages mobs, villagers, and players when connected to a power source and receiving a redstone signal.

Approximately once every two seconds the Tesla coil will simultaneously damage all creatures (including villagers and the player) within a 9x9x9 cube around the Tesla Coil.

Note: The Tesla Coil will zap things through the walls/floor/ceiling.

The Tesla Coil can kill Spiders, Skeletons, Creepers, and Zombies in two hits if connected to an MFE, or 7 hits if connected to a Batbox. Endermen take twice as many hits to kill, and the player is killed in one hit from an MFE, or two hits from a Batbox.

Note: The Tesla Coil tends to do much more damage on the first cycle if it has been dormant for a while before being activated (killing the player and zombies/skeletons/creepers/spiders in one hit, even from a Batbox. And killing Endermen in 6 hits from a Batbox and three hits from an MFE). The reason for this is currently unknown, but it is likely that the Tesla Coil has a small reservoir that it charges when not in use.

If an entity is in range of multiple active Tesla Coils, the damage will stack as expected.

Tesla Coils will drain energy while active, even if there are no targets in range. Thus, it is recommended that Stone Pressure Plates and Switches be configured so that the Tesla Coil will only receive a redstone signal when something is on a pressure plate and the switch is in the "on" position. This way the Tesla coil won't drain any energy unless a target is near, and the player will be able to protect their base at night without having to try and dodge the pressure plates while coming and going during the day.
A fully fueled Jetpack can properly fly for about 60 seconds, followed by about 8 seconds of low power mode (which can only slow the player's descent, instead of fly).

The Jetpack can be refueled by placing it in the bottom of a Canning Machine, and placing 6 fuel cells (i.e. Coalfuel Cells or Biofuel Cells) in the top of the Canning Machine. 6 CoalFuel Cells will give about 95% fuel, and 6 Biofuel Cells will give about 30% fuel. As such, there is no way fully fuel an empty Jetpack without wasting some fuel.
The Jetpack is an equippable tool that allows the player to fly for as long as the fuel in the Jetpack lasts. Flying is performed by holding down the jump key. It also has a Hover Mode, which can be toggled by pressing the M key. In Hover Mode, holding the jump key will make the player slowly descend, while releasing it will disable the Jetpack, hurling the player downwards at normal fall speed. In Hover Mode, the Jetpack uses less fuel.
Known Bugs
If you go high into the air, you will take massive amounts of fall damage, even if you are going very slowly downward, like in Hover Mode. This is because of the minecraft coding itself. Fall damage is calculated by your highest height before your descent. May be fixed in the future. Also applies to the Electric Jetpack.
The Electric Jetpack is a simpler and easily recharged version of the conventional Jetpack. Flying is performed by holding down the jump key.
Unlike the normal Jetpack, the Electric Jetpack is limited to a maximum flying height of 185 meters (blocks) above the bedrock layer. (Note: momentum can carry the player a little higher than this [~195], but the Electric Jetpack will eventually stabilize at a height of ~185.)

Unlike the normal Jetpack, the Electric one remains powerful right until it drains the charge completely. It can be recharged in an MFE or an MFSU and requires 30,000 EU to fully charge.
