The electric jetpack is a more user friendly version of the old jetpack. Instead of using coal based fuel and most certainly not excisting bio and super fuel it uses energy! This jetpack however has much less runtime and therefore it has to be frequently recharged. But the electric jetpack also has much more control therefore perfect for exploring caves. Just like the standard jetpack, the electric jetpack will have a Hover-Mode in IC2. While holding space in the "Hover-Mode" might just slightly move you upwards

Q:Hey, I've been trying to make the Hover mode work, but when I press 'H' while pressing the jump button, nothing happens! Could anyone tell me what's wrong? -Platypus A:The default key is M since version 1.62. Q:How do I toggle hover mode off?"M" doesn't work.
Solar Helmets[edit]
Couldn't one Possibly charge an electric jetpack via a solar helmet?
Electric jetpack and batbox[edit]
On the page it says that you need MFE or MFSU to charge it, but you can also do it with a batbox.
