The Industrial Diamond is created by placing a Coal Chunk in a Compressor.

Recipe[edit]
As of 1.63, they are deprecated; this method will create a normal diamond, and all existing industrial diamonds can be converted to normal diamonds by placing them in a crafting table.
Creation[edit]
Ingredients[edit]
To create an Industrial Diamond from scratch, you need:
- 64 Coal ()
- 1 of either Obsidian (), Bricks (), or Iron Block ()
- 8 Flint ()
- Compressor (), and power to run it for 9 items (8 Coal Balls , 1 Coal Chunk )
- Macerator (), and power to run it for 64 items (64 Coal )
Process[edit]
Macerate the Coal into Coal Dust:
Combine the Coal Dust with Flint to create Coal Ball:
Compress 8 Coal Balls into 8 Compressed Coal Balls:
Combine with Obsidian, Brick block or an Iron Block to create a Coal Chunk:
Compress the Coal Chunk to get a Diamond:
